My work often asks how stories are formed, erased, or altered over time—whether through personal memory, shared history, or imagined futures. I’m drawn to the spaces we inhabit, the objects we surround ourselves with, and the playful, sometimes uneasy ways these shape our sense of self.
Right now, I’m working towards Human Robot—a new live performance-painting project happening this September in central Pōneke. For 12 working days, I’ll follow real-time instructions from a GPT-trained AI to create six large paintings inside a vacant shopfront, transforming the space into a living studio and digital stage. The project builds on themes of labour, automation, and the tension between control and intuition.

Earlier this year, I presented The AI Show at Meanwhile Gallery—a nine-day experiment in AI-led authorship and human resistance.
